TRAFFIX Commissioned to do Traffic Study for North Sydney Council

TRAFFIX was commissioned by North Sydney Council to undertake Traffic Study in High Pedestrian Activities. North Sydney Council has undertaken a North Sydney Traffic and Parking Scheme since 2016. This program has developed a series of action plans across the seven Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Zones. The extensive consultation to date in the LATM zones requires further investigation and analysis to implement High Pedestrian Activity. This would need to be undertaken in order to meet Roads and Maritime Services thresholds for 40km/h HPAA treatments. The analysis is to provide data analysis and road safety research to support applications for road safety grants and programs such as the 40km/h high pedestrian activity area. This is to support Council’s application to Transport for NSW and Roads and Maritime Services.
